Injection Packers
Injecting packers (Mechanical Packers) manufactured by Metro Industires is used as connecting pieces between the structural element and the injection device for the injection of various materials. They are used for sealing building structures and repairing cracks. Hairline cracks that are smaller than the thickness of a fingernail are good candidates for using an injection packer. We, at Metro Industries, manufacture high-quality injection packers of different standard dimensions and also as per the customer's requirement.
Concrete walls that are over 250mm in thickness and have cracks narrower than 1.5mm may require an injection packer. With low viscosity, liquid polyurethane is injected under pressure into the concrete through purpose-built Alloy & metal injection packers. They are strong, lightweight, and easy to use; owing to their unique non-return valve system, the Crack shot Plastic Packer leaves no exposed protrusion at the surface after the injection process.

METRO Injection packers are commonly used in grouting to seal cracks or joints in a structure and to inject grout into the voids. These inection packers are specialized mechanical plugs inserted into a drilled hole and tightened to create a seal. The grout is then pumped into the hole through the packer using a high-pressure pump, filling the voids and sealing the crack or joint. Injection packers are made of different materials, including steel, brass, aluminium, or plastic. They come in different sizes and shapes to fit the specific needs of the grouting project. Some Injection packers have multiple ports that allow injecting grout ions in different directions, while others have only one port. Various types of injection packers are used for grouting, including mechanical packers, hydraulic packers, and chemical injection packers.
